A Few Questions and Answers:
October 6th, 2009In the past few days I have had an overwhelming number of GREAT questions! I am going to answer a few of those now.
As it is very hard for me to answer each individually I will periodically answer questions in a blog time to time…. or you can simply leave a question in the form of a comment and I will answer it more quickly.
Again, thanks for the GREAT questions! Keep them coming ….
Q: How do u manage keeping track of who has what item for what price? I used to write that down, but I am off of the wagon and trying to think of a better way. Someone had suggested an Excel spreadsheet to me, but I was wondering what u do?
A: Simply put, I don’t use a spreadsheet or keep track of sale items. Every week I scan the sale paper and look for really low prices and ALWAYS try to match it with a coupon. Once you get the hang of things, you will notice and get familiar with prices and seasonal sales.
Q: Where did you find the Sears coupon? I went to their site and searched coupons and couldn’t find it. Thanks. By the way, love your site and would be interested in one of your classes.
A: The Sears coupon was a 3 day promotion that was sent to my email. It is always in your best interest to sign up for online discounts thru many retail stores. You will always be the first to know of GREAT sales and online coupons. About the class…. I am currently setting up a Leisure Learning class with McNeese, so stay tuned
Q:I have been clipping coupons for the past couple months. I do save but not as much as you. I am in the process of learning. One thing I would like to know is, can you use more than one coupon for items for example a coupon for Pillsbury grands biscuits save 40 cents when you buy 3, I don’t see where you save money. HELP!!
A: This is a GREAT question. You can only use 1 coupon in this situation when you buy 3 items, however don’t forget that the coupon will *DOUBLE* to .80 off when you buy 3 !! Pair this with a frequent sale price of $1.50/can and get a ROCKBOTTOM price. $1.50×3= $4.50 – .80 = $3.70 for 3 cans of biscuits. Thats $1.23/can, that is cheaper than the store brand.
Keep the questions coming guys… Have a GREAT day !!!

Kohl’s Grand Opening Today
September 30th, 2009Get PAID to bring groceries home !!
September 20th, 2009You can use rebates and promotions to get groceries for little or nothing!! Sometimes using coupons and sales you may get a little lucky and make money on these promotions.
For example: I purchased 10 Eggo Waffle Products when they were on sale, with coupons of course. I purchased these for .66/box!
Currently Kellogg’s is running a Fuel for School Program www.fuelforschool.com where you buy 10 products (send in reciepts and UPC’s) and you will recieve a $10 check by mail.
So….
10 Boxes of Eggos x .66 = $6.60
Minus the $10 Rebate= $3.04 PROFIT !!!!
Kellogg’s Paid ME to buy their product
