Oh, I meant to mention a website: couponmom.com. I heard a financial advisor on the news recommend it for great coupons.

As an avid couponer myself, I have been able to get results like this on occasion as well. When one saves up their best coupons, and couples them with great sales and double coupons, of course one can arrange a trip to get just those deals.
But I think we should be honest and say this wasn’t what many would call a normal grocery shopping visit. Most shopping visits include buying items that are a necessity, but aren’t on special and don’t have coupons available.
I don’t mean to throw any cold water on anything, but I think that people who really want to save money regularly at the grocery see what they think are gimmicks and get turned off.

Steve it is small grocery trips like this that save money and help pay for those necessities! Sure everyone has to pay full price for milk and bread, but teaching others that you can buy vegetables and household products nearly free enables them to NEVER pay full price for them again.
If one person saves $500/year on say… laundry and cleaning products and vegetables alone that is $500 towards a credit card bill or “average” shopping trips. I am not here to gimmick or trick others into saving money. I am only here to educate and empower people into knowing that there are many ways of saving money.
